This course is for advanced wildlife enthusiasts to learn more about the natural behavior of Lynx species.

Arrive as early as 6:00 PM to enjoy introductory lectures in our Bird Garden with Hummingbirds at 3 feet from your nose, and witness the marvels of forest ecology with explorations of our Beaver-Dam Pond and Eastern Forest Trails. Expand your course experience to our American Predators course to include American Black Bears in your study of nature in our havens.

The American Lynx typically surveys the area every three days, and may arrive at any hour of the night.  Upon her arrival, your instructor will call you to meet in our havens and track down the Lynx.

The next morning and afternoon, you are welcome to schedule instructor-assisted birding on our trails and in our bird garden until 12:00. Expand your experience to include our afternoon American Black Bear course.
